Changing the Outgoing Server in Netscape 7.X |
1. First, get into the email part of Netscape
2. Click on Edit, then click on Mail and News Group Account Settings
3. In the column to the left, find Outgoing Server (SMTP) and click on it
4. Click on the Advanced button found to the right.
5. Click once one the name of the server in the window to highlight it and to activate the Edit button to the right.
6. Click on Edit
7. Change the Server name to:
smtp2.crosslink.net
8. Make sure the box is checked to use name and password and that you have your crosslink user name in the window (DO NOT enter in @crosslink.net in with the user name)
9. For the Use Secure Connection is marked NO or Never
10. Click OK, then OK and OK
